Marissa graduated from University of North Dakota School of Law in 2018. She also attended the University of North Dakota for her undergraduate, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.
Prior to joining Ebeltoft . Sickler . Lawyers, Marissa worked as an attorney in Fargo, North Dakota, concentrating in elder law, personal planning, guardianships, and trust law including special needs trusts for the disabled. During law school, Marissa worked as a law clerk for a private law firm in Grand Forks, North Dakota. She also served as a judicial extern to Judge Tamara L. Yon of Minnesota’s Ninth Judicial District before rounding out her law school career as a law clerk for the Cass County North Dakota State’s Attorney’s Office in Fargo, North Dakota.
Marissa was born and raised in Dickinson, North Dakota. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling to new and exciting places, and walking her dog, Foxy.
